PET Glass Vacuum Blood Collection Glucose Potassium OxalateTube

Sodium fluoride tube is a weak anticoagulant. It is usually used in combination with potassium oxalate or sodium diiodate. The ratio is 1 part of sodium fluoride and 3 parts of potassium oxalate. 4mg of this mixture can prevent 1ml of blood from coagulation and inhibit sugar decomposition within 23 days.

Description

The combination of sodium fluoride and anticoagulant tubes are used to obtain highly stable plasma for blood glucose testing. Sodium fluoride is a glucose degradation inhibitor, which has the effect of inhibiting glucose metabolism and degradation. The optional anticoagulants are potassium oxalate, EDTA and heparin sodium, which can prevent blood clotting and avoid hemolysis. This special compound additive allows long-term refrigeration of blood glucose samples.
